Our speaker this week was the group’s CPA, Martin Morris, from Karp, Klein & Associates in Rockville, Maryland. Martin hails from Boston, but has a wife and 18-month-old son and lives in Rockville. His presentation was filled with tax tips for each chapter member. While he says that November can be a slow month for those in the tax business, it is the BEST time for pass a referral to him!

We passed 19 referrals, recorded 7 sets of one-on-ones, and thanked each other for $1,310 in new business. Barry Hinton was welcomed as a new member to our group!

Dee van der Ham, one of the group’s ambassadors, led this week’s meeting. She shared with us BNI’s Member Success Program (MSP) which teaches you better ways to increase your referrals, fine tune your infomercials and deliver a dynamic presentation. The MSP training is required for all BNI members and we can see why! Thanks Dee!

We passed 10 referrals, recorded 10 sets of one-on-ones, and had two guests, Judy Austin from Arbonne International, and Barry Hinton from Monavie.

Our chapter leadership has changed.  Training our new Vice President to update this site didn’t happen right away, so we’ve missed a few posts.  We should be back on track shortly.
